With over 50 years of combined experience working with starch, the owners of NewStarch Solutions (NSS) saw an opportunity to create new products with a starch base that are both good for the environment and economical in the marketplace. NewStarch Solutions (NSS) has its office and manufacturing located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
NewStarch Solutions (NSS) blends raw starches into a formulated powder. From there, the formulated starch powder is fed into an extruder where gelatinization takes place and resin is formed. This dense resin is packed into 2000-pound supersacks and shipped worldwide to the customer.
The customer processes the resin through a small on-site extrusion system to obtain the desired finished product.
Resin is the base for all finished products. Commonly referred to as a pellet. This starch-based resin is manufactured at the Minneapolis facility and shipped worldwide. Custom Formulations are available. The resin is used but not limited to the products listed below.
Traditional peanut loose fill option will protect your products, while our newer line of solutions can be customized to meet your needs.
In addition to cushioning your shipment, these starch based products are environmentally friendly. They are re-usable or can easily be disposed of by dissolving in water.
POWDER
NewStarch Solutions extrudes plant starches at its facility in Minneapolis to form a pellet. This sustainable resin is bulk packaged, then shipped all over the world.
